Republicans Endorse Slate

Registered Weston Republicans caucused on July 15 to select endorsed candidates for the November municipal election.
The party did not name a candidate for the office of First Selectman.
For the Board of Selectmen, Lauren Traum won the nod over Republican incumbent Kerem Dinlenc by a vote of 52 to 15. Ms. Traum had previously prevailed in a vote of the Republican Town Committee.
Democrats are scheduled to name a slate on July 22.
Republican candidates endorsed are:
- Ms. Traum, for the Board of Selectmen.
- Jason Lee for the Board of Education.
- Robert Dewilder for the Planning & Zoning Commission.
- Robert Kozlowsky and Kirby Brendsel for the Board of Police Commissioners.
- Annalise Ferrara, Jim Aselta, and Alex Staehely for the Board of Finance.
- Jason Bergman for the Zoning Board of Appeals.
- Richard Wolf for Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates.
