On the ballot in the 2026 general election are the state’s Constitutional officers: Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller, and Attorney General.

Also, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, Judge of Probate, and Registrar of Voters.

Three questions also appear on the Weston ballot, asking whether you approve changing Town Charter provisions relating to majority party representation on boards and commissions, the ATBM, and various other matters.

Voting

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3 in the Weston Middle School gym. Ballots can be cast from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Early voting takes place in the Town Hall Meeting Room from Monday, October 19 to Sunday, November 1. The hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm except on Tuesday and Thursday, October 27 and 29. On those days the hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Absentee ballots are available in the Town Clerk’s office through Monday, November 2 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Connecticut no longer requires that you claim an excuse for not voting in person. Absentee ballots are counted on Election Day in the middle school gym.

Not registered?

You can register to vote online here, but only until October 18. Otherwise, register in person with the Registrar of Voters, including by Same-Day Voter Registration at the polls on Election Day or any of the early voting days.
