“Doors of Weston” on Sale
The continuing celebration of America’s 250th includes special pricing for “Doors of Weston,” Julie O’Connor’s book of 177 Weston photographs first published in 2008 as a collectible limited edition.
Proceeds from sales of Ms. O’Connor’s memorable book, now available for $76 here, support the Weston History & Culture Center. Its pages tell the story of Weston over the course of three centuries, exploring themes of community, nature, art, and passages through time and history.
The book features a preface by longtime residents Susan and José Feliciano and an essay by Karin Giannitti.
Ms. O’Connor, a fine art photographer and photojournalist, is a member of Artists Collective of Westport, the National Association of Women Artists, Connecticut Women Artists, Milford Arts Council, Rowayton Arts Center, Silvermine Guild of Artists, Ridgefield Guild of Artists, and the Salmagundi Club.
She is also an associate member of the Connecticut Fine Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been published in magazines and newspapers and is in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.
