History Through a Lens
Contributed photos
Students in third to sixth grade interested in history and photography have a chance to learn about the early days of photography, explore photos from 150 years ago, and use clues to create a story about images from the past.
History Through a Lens, a 90-minute class at the Weston History & Culture Center, takes place on Sunday, February 8 at 2:00.
The program is free, but registration is required because only 12 spots are available. Register here.
No prior experience is needed. Students should bring a camera, tablet or smartphone to capture photos. If one is not available, WHCC can share one. Just let them know, (203) 226-1804. The class, co-sponsored by the WHCC and the Weston Public Library, is taught by Kira Joshi and Samantha Fargione, the center’s executive director.
