Police Investigate Burglaries

Weston Police are investigating two residential burglaries that occurred over the weekend, one on Lyons Plain Road, the other on Old Hyde Road.

In a statement, the police report that during the evening hours of November 15 a perpetrator gained access to a home on Lyons Plain Road through a first-floor window, ransacked several rooms, and took numerous items of jewelry.

In the Old Hyde Road burglary over the weekend, the perpetrator also gained access through a first-floor window and stole various items before leaving. In both incidents, the windows were broken and completely removed.

The police urge all residents to lock their doors and windows, set alarms, and ensure surveillance cameras are functioning properly. They also urge residents to lock vehicles that are parked outdoors and remove the keys and valuables.
