The curtain goes up on November 14 and 15 for “12 Angry Jurors,” a drama staged by Weston High School’s Company theater group.

Showtime on Friday the 14th is 7:00 pm. On Saturday the 15th it’s 3:00 pm. Tickets are available here.

The three-act play is an adaptation of the 1954 teleplay “12 Angry Men,” retitled for the stage version and for productions cast with male and female actors.

The courtroom drama tells the story of 12 jurors charged with rendering a unanimous verdict on the guilt or innocence of a teenager accused of murder. It explores how personal biases and prejudices can obstruct justice, even when the evidence seems clear-cut. Tensions rise as one juror, convinced of the defendant’s innocence, tries to persuade the others to reconsider their initial votes.
