An event at the Town Green on Friday, April 26 observes Earth Day, showcases groups and programs focused on reducing the town’s carbon footprint, and recognizes key contributors to sustainability initiatives.

“Green on the Green” takes place from 4:00 to 7:00, featuring food vendors, activities, information, awards, and live music. Chairs and blankets are welcome.

About ten awards will be presented to groups and individuals. Musical entries include an acoustic performance by Weston’s own Grateful Dads, covering some of the Dead’s most memorable numbers.
